The Question is one of the great supporting players in the DC Universe, and one of comic book icon (and Spider-Man co-creator) Steve Ditko’s most lasting legacies.
In appropriately contradictory fashion, The Question’s two most memorable starring roles are clearly outside the standard realm of DC Comics. In the early 2000’s, The Question regularly stole scenes in the animated Justice League Unlimited and of course, the character serves as the foundation for Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen creation, Rorschach.
As a result, the Question’s actual comic book legacy is fairly minimal (especially compared to DC character’s who have been around for decades), with a late 80s run serving as the character’s longest ongoing by far.
