  • Hi guys! Just started on your Ultimate Year and am reading Ultimate Spiderman #1-7. In the first panel of #2 ... is that a word choice error designed to make the teacher look bad? Other wise it makes the author look kinda bad ... what do you guys think?

    alleviate is the right word of course. Thanks for your thoughts!

    • The Smoot-Hawley was not really aimed to aleviate anything, in fact it contributed to the early loss of confidence on Wall Street and signaled U.S. isolationism. So I guess it is more of a comment by Bendis on the Republican party.
