The Butcher of Paris is based on the true story of Marcel Petoit, a serial killer active during World War II in German occupied France, masquerading as a member of the resistance and targeting Jewish citizens seeking refuge. It’s a harrowing account of one of history’s greatest monsters, and the historical context that allowed for his reign of terror.

I am french, and have been using your website for month now.
I love serial killer story, I have a ton of books about them, and yet I had never heard about Marcel Petiot.
I just spent ten minutes reading his biography on Wikipedia, it was one hell of a crazy ride.
