Creannotators #38: “Warhammer 40k” Interview With Writer Kieron Gillen!

This week on Creannotators, guest hosts Mark Turetsky and Stuart Wellington talk to comics writer Kieron Gillen about Warhammer 40,000: Marneus Calgar, and his vast comics library! They talk about all things Warhammer, the intersections between hobby gaming and comics, and Kieron’s creative approach.

On Comic Book Herald’s ‘Creannotators’ I’ll be interviewing some of my favorite creators in comics about specific runs, graphic novels or series, looking for their insights on the inspirations behind the work and ideas or hidden material readers may have missed. Creannotators is an audio annotative guide to enjoying the intricacies and thinking in the art. Thanks for listening, and enjoy the comics!

  • Terrific interview. I take the point about RPGs and cults. When I tell people that I lost years of my life to role playing, I'm only kidding a little.
