The “Death of Wolverine” train is still chugging along, pumping out various one shots and issues in comics that tie into Wolverine. (Check out my reviews of Logan Legacy, and various other tie ins!) This is the first book of a five issue series, and picks up directly from the events at the end of “Death of Wolverine”. The Amazing Spider-Man #9 Review! Spider-Verse Event Begins!
We’ve been to the edge, but this week Spider-Verse finally kicks off in Amazing Spider-Man #9. He also breaks the fourth wall, a lot, and knows full well he is a comic book character. Now, on to this issue! [Read more…] about DEATH OF WOLVERINE Deadpool and Captain America – ADVENTURE!
Deathlok #1 Review!
If you’re a 90’s kid like me, you probably remember Deathlok. Well, you probably remember at least one Deathlok. Between 1992 and 1993, I think he made a guest appearance in just about every Marvel book there was. He embodied much of the 90’s comics aesthetic; cybernetic arms and legs, big guns, an eye-piece, belt pouches, those new-fangled computer thingies, the whole deal. But that was the Michael Collins Deathlok. In Deathlok #1, Marvel launches a newer, hipper, Deathlok into the 21st century. Well, sort of. [Read more…] about Deathlok #1 Review!
